DaF Resource Center

On April 29, 2009 the Resource Center for “German as a Foreign Language” (DaF) at GISW opened its doors as part of the “Schools – Partners for the Future” (PASCH) initiative of the German State Department.

The aim of this initiative is „to establish a worldwide net of partner schools and thus pique interest and enthusiasm for modern Germany and its society within young people”.

The Competency Center was financed by the Central Office for German Schools Abroad as part of the Pasch-Initiative while the school was responsible for the remodeling and equipment of the rooms.

The German International School Washington D.C. stays in touch with its alumni around the globe and is very proud of their achievements.
