Math Olympics

Eleven of our students have already participated in the third round of the International Mathematical Olympics, which took place over two days on Tuesday, February 13 and Monday, February 26, 2018. On both days, the students were tasked with solving mathematical assignments without auxiliary devices in two five-hour exams.

The eleven participants had moved up into this state level (“Landesrunde”) after competing for two rounds in a group of 33 for the „Landesrunde “. From grade 9 on, 5 Students who submit the best work out of all the German Schools Abroad, may be invited to the federal finals, the “Bundesfinale”. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that that one of our own will be among them!
