Why dragons? Originally because of the movie "How to train your dragon" and the association that our 12th graders are now "fully trained". Also, in China for example, dragons are a symbol of good fortune so they were ideal as a good luck charm for the Abi exams.
Ultimately, the „Abi-Surprise“ parent team wanted to make their kids happy with "their" stuffed animal, there has never been a dragon for the "Abi-Surprise" and it also fit so well with the theme of the banner where the dragons are ready to fly away from school into the next chapter of their lives.
