Montgomery County Schools decided to open late today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan B.
- Classes start at 9:55 am.
- Morning buses pick up students later and follow the Plan B bus schedule.
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care take place as scheduled.
- All afternoon and evening events take place as scheduled.
Please be aware that in the event of worsening conditions, Montgomery County's decision regarding school closures may be reevaluated at 7 am, possibly resulting in a full-day closure.

Nachdem Montgomery County heute einen verspäteten Unterrichtsbeginn beschlossen hat gilt an der GISW Plan B.
- Der Unterricht beginnt um 9:55 Uhr.
- Die Schulbusse fahren morgens später und folgen dem Plan B Buszeitplan.
- Das Nachmittagsprogramm und die Spätbetreuung finden statt.
- Alle Nachmittags- und Abendveranstaltungen finden statt.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass im Falle einer Verschlechterung der Bedingungen die Entscheidung des Montgomery County um 7 Uhr morgens revidiert werden kann, was möglicherweise zu einer ganztägigen Schließung führt.
Abitur Ball 2021
On Friday, June 11, 2021 the traditional Abitur-Ball gala took place at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Emily Haber, who graciously invited our graduating class to hold their celebration in this festive setting. Dr. Haber congratulated the students in person on their successful graduation. Although our Class of 2021 was forced to prepare for their Abitur examinations mainly in distance learning mode, they managed to achieve outstanding results. Consequently, spirits were high as the tension of many months of hard work could finally be left behind. Mr. Löckmann and some of their teachers were present as well to raise their glasses and congratulate the young adults on their successful graduation.
