First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Ballroom Dance Lessons for Adults

Register today for our Ballroom Dance Course for GISW PARENTS!
Our first Ballroom Dance Course for parents last school year has been a great success. That’s why the FRIENDS are excited to offer an extended 9-week Dance Course for Adults at the GISW beginning January 15, 2020. This course will take place Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Elementary School Gym of the GISW.
Under the guidance of our experienced dance teacher team, Lukas Klotzsche and Kerstin Oltmanns, beginners and intermediate dance couples will learn how to dance traditional and modern ballroom dances or refresh existing skills in dances like Waltz, Foxtrott, ChaChaCha, Salsa, Hussle and others.
