Campus tours will resume once the new school year begins on August 20. We would be delighted to welcome you for a private tour. Please contact admissions@giswashington.org to schedule your visit.
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Elementary School: Story Book Trail
An Announcement from the Elementary School Library
On Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9 our traditional Day of the Book will take place.
Due to the success of last year’s story book trail, we decided to use the same framework this year.
There will be eight stations featuring a reading of the book “Die Umwelt-Konferenz der Tiere” by Anita van Saan. At the end of the trail interesting activities around the topic of the book are waiting for our students.
At this point in time, we would like to thank our sponsor, the Friends, and our cherished volunteers for their active and generous support of our event.
We are looking forward to sunny days in June.
