Field Trip to the Maryland Science Center

Science excursion! Our fourth-graders were waiting for that day in December, just before Christmas. Together with their teachers Ms. Colopy, Ms. Baker, Ms. Pence and a few parent chaperones they took off to the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore.

And our students were not disappointed. After all, they had learned a lot about electricity by conducting experiments in class. At the Science Center they engaged in the hands on activities and an enrichment program called “Ziplock Chemistry”.

“Science is my favorite subject” is the sentiment we heard expressed on the way back after the successful field trip.
