First SE-Day at the GISW

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

dear School Community!

We cordially invite you to our first SEDay on May 27, 2021.

The virtual event will take place from 7 to 8 pm via Zoom. The Zoom link is in the Wednesday Mail.

What is a SEDay? - It's our school development day that we strive to celebrate every year from now on at GISW!

Over the past two months, our students have participated intensively and enthusiastically in the School Development Competition organized by the GISW Steering Committee. Starting in grade 3, each class was asked to submit at least one entry to the contest.

During the lunch break on SEDay, we would like to have a big school picnic for all our students, teachers and staff, respecting the cohort system. Then in the evening at 7pm, we will gather in a Zoom meeting, look at the best competition entries, and crown the winners not only of this contest, but also celebrate successes in other great competitions that our students have successfully participated in this school year as well.

We will also provide information about the upcoming school inspections, our development priorities at the school, and the "Strengthening the School Community" project group that is to be formed soon.

We are very much looking forward to this event and the start of a new tradition!
