After a two-week lesson plan on healthy eating, it is tradition for the SES classes to celebrate the end of the Thanksgiving topic with a shared meal.
The Friday before Thanksgiving, our School Entry Level (SEL) students went to work to prepare a delicious meal. They had lots of fun cutting and washing fresh vegetables. The students filled a big pot with theses vegetables and parent volunteers then turned them into a tasty soup for all.
Before enjoying the meal, the students sang two children’s’ songs related to food. Then everyone sat together and enjoyed the delicious vegetable soup with baguette.
