Campus Tours:
Campus tours will resume once the new school year begins on August 20. We would be delighted to welcome you for a private tour. Please contact admissions@giswashington.org to schedule your visit.
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Campusführungen sind ab Beginn des neuen Schuljahres am 20. August wieder möglich. Gerne begrüßen wir Sie zu einer persönlichen Schulführung. Bitte kontaktieren Sie admissions@giswashington.org, um einen individuellen Termin zu vereinbaren.

Für die Schuleingangsstufe (5-Jährige) sowie die Klassen 2 bis 12: Donnerstag, 20. August 2026
Für den Kindergarten und die erste Klasse: Montag, 24. August 2026
Generous donation by the Friends of the German School
A big thank-you goes to the Friends of the German School for donating a cart that all groups at the school can use when transporting items on school grounds. This cart will be shared by all departments and is used for a variety of daily purposes. It will be especially helpful during our biggest school events such as the 5k Oktoberfest Run, the German Christmas Market, and the Summer Festival.
