Hours for walk-in traffic during Summer Break:
Monday through Friday: 10 am to 3 pm
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

GLC Students receive their German Language Diploma (DSD II)
GLC students received their German Language Diploma during a beautiful ceremony at the German Embassy Washington, D.C.
After spending their Saturday mornings at the GLC for the past 10-12 years, they took their final exams and became proud recipients of the prestigious German Language Diploma 2. We congratulate all our students and wish them the very best for their future endeavors.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the Cultural Department of the German Embassy as well as to Mrs. Pohlmann of the Board of Directors of the German School for their continuous support and the wonderful speeches during the ceremony.
