First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

3. Klasse: Boat Tour on the Potomac River
Washington, D.C., the city we live in
On Thursday, May 25 2017, the classes 3a and 3b took a boat tour on the Potomac within the context of the class project: “Washington, D.C., the city we live in”. We saw monuments like the Kennedy Center, the Washington Monument, the Capitol, the Lincoln- and Jefferson Memorials, Roosevelt Island and more, comfortably from the water.
