Campus Tours:
Campus tours will resume once the new school year begins on August 20. We would be delighted to welcome you for a private tour. Please contact admissions@giswashington.org to schedule your visit.
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Ordering School Books for 2018/19
It’s that time again: We are preparing for the coming school year by ordering school books from Germany. Please click here to the book lists for 2018/19. Detailed information about the ordering process is listed on the school website under CAMPUS LIFE > Bookstore > Book Ordering.
Please submit your order no later than Monday, March 5th, 2018.
Your orders will be ready for pick up around the middle of May. We will inform you about all the details via the Wednesday Mail. Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time at bookstore@giswashington.org or during our opening hours - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm – by phone as well at 301.767.3822.
