Preschoolers are painting doves

The Zebra group of the preschool, some of our youngest members of the school community, had a blast coloring the origami doves, which kindly had been pre-folded by older enthusiastic student volunteers. They are part of the 60^th GISW Anniversary Celebration Project.

Colors were discussed and then the children left their cheerful marks, twirls, and heart on the doves while sitting outside at our picnic tables on the preschool playground. That day offered beautiful fall weather, and in no time the pieces of art were completed – each one as unique and individual as each of our students and GISW culture!
