Monday through Friday: 10 am to 3 pm
Campus Tours:
Campus tours will resume once the new school year begins on August 20. We would be delighted to welcome you for a private tour. Please contact admissions@giswashington.org to schedule your visit.
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Campusführungen sind ab Beginn des neuen Schuljahres am 20. August wieder möglich. Gerne begrüßen wir Sie zu einer persönlichen Schulführung. Bitte kontaktieren Sie admissions@giswashington.org, um einen individuellen Termin zu vereinbaren.

Summer Festival 2017
Our Summer Festival is on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 5pm. All members and emplyeees of the German School are invited!

ENTERTAINMENT No speeches, only food, drink and lots of fun and games for the entire family. The Summer Festival is the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to friends who may move away this summer or to simply enjoy good company in a relaxed beer garden atmosphere. Let’s Party: |

FOOD & DRINK We look forward to delicious treats like Bratwurst with salads, Leberkäse, Austrian specialties, the SEBR’s children’s dish and – brand-new this year – Tapas Olé!, Spanish delights to eat or to drink. |

PARKING As usual, please remember that parking anywhere along Chateau Drive is not permitted. Should the school’s parking lots be full, please use the overflow parking option at Lady of Mercy. |

SUPERVISION Students attending the Summer Festival must be supervised by their parents. |
