Viking Ships

The Vikings were excellent ship builders. Their famous longboats were ornately decorated with snake and dragon heads. Longboats were fast, light-weight, and easy to maneuver during the wars and battles Vikings engaged in during their pillages. 

As a final assignment, while studying Vikings in social studies, the students built their own "Viking Ships“.
