Empowering Future Leaders and Scholars

The GISW Global Leaders Scholarship aims to recognize and support outstanding students with financial need who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to cross-cultural understanding within the community of the German International School Washington D.C.  Donations made to the Scholarship Fund will go directly towards creating merit-based “top-up” scholarships for currently enrolled or admitted GISW students in grades 9 through 12 for whom the tuition and fees present a financial barrier or hardship.  Help us to ensure that our high academic standard bilingual education remains accessible for our most deserving students who contribute to strengthening our school community.

What Does the Scholarship Fund Support?

The GISW Global Leaders Scholarship will cover a percentage of tuition fees for the successful candidate(s). The exact amount and number of scholarships awarded annually will be determined based on available funds and applicant pool.
