Prototype
BoardBot
Not all schools can effort to be equipped with
technically complex and expensive Smart Boards. In
the United States for example, instead of the
conventional chalkboard, less expensive and
cumbersome whiteboards are often used in schools.
Here the idea of the Smart Board Bot is to be an
inexpensive and easy-to-install system for digitizing
whiteboard inscriptions.
Through image recognition, data storage and
integration as well as file conversion, board writings
would be digitized and sent to students right away.
Especially useful for online learning, this could be an
effective and time-saving tool for remote teaching.
Ideally, the Board Bot would also be able to clean itself
and store preset information and structures such as
coordinate systems that a teacher could use often.
