Cancellation of Classes

Since January 1, 2019, the German International School Washington D.C. follows Montgomery County Public Schools for school closures (GISW Plan A), 2 hour delays (GISW Plan B), and unscheduled early dismissals (GISW Plan C). At the GISW we have an additional Plan D, where all classes after 8th period are cancelled. Please view detailed information on GISW procedures below.
