Afternoon program classes at the Upper School will start on Monday, August 22nd, 2022. There is an additional/separate registration form for students from grades 5-9 needing supervision on Friday, August 19th, during 7th-8th periods. The catalog with all course offerings can be viewed.
Families will have the chance to register their students for classes by Friday, August 19th using an online form. Students will be able to try out their first and second choice classes during the first two full weeks of school (August 22nd - September 2nd).
Following Labor Day weekend, students will begin attending the courses they have decided on. Note: It will not be possible for students to switch courses following the end of the trial period. The afternoon program is offered on afternoons when there are no regular classes scheduled. Afternoon program courses for 5th graders will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays during 7th-8th periods. Courses for 6th graders will be offered on Mondays and Fridays during 7th-8th periods. 7th-9th graders have courses on Fridays during 7th-8th periods. There will also be courses offered for 9th-12th graders during 9th-10th periods on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Supplemental instruction in German, English and Mathematics will be offered during 9th-10th periods on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. There are also some courses in the late afternoon program that are open to students in grades 5-12.
