For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Award Ceremony at Austrian Embassy
At the invitation of the German Executive Round Table and the Economic Section of the Austrian Embassy, the winning team of this year's Business Award was invited on Tuesday, March 14th, to an award ceremony at the Austrian Embassy. During the event, the winning team Sophie, Elias and Salome presented their sustainable and local Meal-Kit service "Roots" to the GER members and the representatives of the Austrian Embassy. There was an exciting exchange between the team and Bernhard Gallent, a co-founder of Little Austria (www.little-austria.com). Similar to what was outlined in the „Roots“ business plan of our tenth-graders, Little Austria had also started in a shared kitchen and has grown into an award-winning producer of authentic Strudel that is delivered nationwide. Special thanks to Margit Zimmern of GER and Mr. Lack of the Austrian Embassy who were responsible for organizing the reception.
