Join Germany and France in their joint celebration of European Friendship, on May 13, 10 am-4 pm!
Germany and France showcase their friendship and highlight the best of both countries at their joint Open House. This year, the French Embassy in Washington, DC, will host this popular annual event, where visitors can discover the food, culture, language, and diplomatic life of two major European nations. You’ll be entertained by German and French live music, as you sample culinary specialties and signature beverages from both countries. Kid-friendly activities include face-painting, balloon animals, coloring, and much more. Bring your friends and neighbors to the booths of GISW and the GLC.
Location: Embassy of France, 4101 Reservoir Road, NW Washington DC, 20007. The Embassy grounds will both be open to the public.
Parking: Street parking is limited, so public transportation is highly encouraged.
