A Celebration of Community, Culture, and What’s Ahead!

As we kick off 2026 at GISW, we’re reflecting on one of our most joyful community moments — GISW Oktoberfest! Thanks to the incredible support of our families, partners, and our main sponsor, gategroup, the event raised $11,646.24 for the GISW Global Learning Fund, bringing us very close to our $15,000 goal!

Looking ahead, the excitement continues to build for October 3rd, 2026, when we’ll celebrate not only our GISW Oktoberfest, but also German Unity Day and—most exciting of all—50 years of the GLC !!!

 

For five decades, the GLC has inspired a love of the German language, fostered cultural exchange, and brought generations of learners together. From beginners to fluent speakers, the GLC has built bridges across cultures—and we cannot wait to honor this extraordinary milestone as one community.
