Campus Tours:
Campus tours will resume once the new school year begins on August 20. We would be delighted to welcome you for a private tour. Please contact admissions@giswashington.org to schedule your visit.
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Spelling Bee - GISW winner moving on to regional level
Congratulations to Luli for winning our GISW Spelling Bee!! Let’s all support her as she moves on representing our school as a contestant at the Regional Spelling Bee for Montgomery County this coming Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10am at Bullis School (Blair Family Center for the Arts), 10601 Falls Road in Potomac.
We would love to have as many GISW supporters as possible attend the event. As you prepare please keep in mind that the Howard Auditorium of the Blair Family Center for the Arts must remain absolutely silent during the Bee. The winner of the Montgomery County Regional Spelling Bee will then advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. We are all crossing our fingers for you, Luli!
