Championship Title for Our Elementary School Soccer Team!

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the championship game of the external Soccer League took place, in which our elementary school soccer team participated throughout this school year. With an outstanding team performance, our students won the final match by a score of 6–4, securing the league championship title.
This success is the result of many months of dedicated training. Every Wednesday after school, the team practiced under the leadership of Cem Sievers (parent volunteer) and Holger Papiess (Physical Education teacher). The players’ consistent effort, commitment, and strong sense of teamwork paid off in an impressive way.
We would also like to recognize the tremendous support of our parents. Their encouragement, organization, and dedication played an essential role in making this successful season possible. We are sincerely grateful for their contributions.

Parent volunteer Ms. Ludwigs captured the significance of this shared commitment perfectly:
"Team sports have a unique ability to build bridges where they are needed most—especially at the age of our boys. Inclusion, respect, teamwork, perseverance, learning how to win together, and also how to lose together—these are all lessons learned through sports. Yesterday showed how much the children have grown as a team. Thank you as well. It was truly a team effort."
Following the championship victory, players, coaches, and families celebrated together at a private barbecue gathering.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families on this wonderful achievement!

Looking Ahead to the New School Year
In the upcoming school year, we will have two school soccer teams. In addition to the team for students in Grades 3 and 4, a second team will be formed for children in SES through Grade 2. More information will be provided in the parent letters attached to this newsletter.

Congratulations to our new champions!
